As EVP of Belzberg Technologies, Alicia took the company public in 2000 and led two acquisitions. In 2004, the company partnered with the CBOE to develop, and bring to market the first Hybrid Trading System (HyTS).

Sid developed patented technology for the financial markets that led to a successful joint venture with the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE), bringing to market the first CBOE Hybrid Trading system. Sid is a well recognized and ranked Chess Master, and is a recipient of the JNF Tree of Life Award.
In 2008 Jeff Ramson founded, and is CEO of, PCG Advisory Group. He is well regarded as a business entrepreneur and innovator, with a proven track record of more than 25 years’ experience on Wall Street, raising capital and providing strategic guidance for emerging public and private companies in various stages of development. Jeff’s passion and understanding of transformative technologies and how they affect current and future business trends has informed his whole career. He is known as an innovator in the intelligent use of social media to raise awareness in the investment community and represented the first Reg A+ offering listed on the NYSE. Jeff has been a student of, and an early participant in, the emerging blockchain and cryptocurrency sector for several years. Most recently, he established Proactive Capital Partners, LLC, a private investment firm focused on capital appreciation through investment in next generation technology opportunities. Jeff is a director of EV Blockchain Corp. and an advisor to CG Blockchain.

John Garfitt, P. Eng
Software architect and developer for 30+ years. Previously COO at Belzberg Technologies, where he led the development of enterprise fintech software and designed the first universal Protocol Translation Gateway to route FIX messages to the NYSE, CBOE and the Toronto Stock Exchange. Prior to that, Don led the implementation of the first back-office accounting system for the brokerage industry that replaced the IBM mainframe system.
John holds bachelor degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Geological Sciences and has 30+ years experience as a senior engineer and executive in the marine, transportation and manufacturing sectors. Recently, his attention has focused on blockchain technology. John’s professional career includes roles as VP Quality at Zodiac-Hurricane Technologies Military and Professional Division, VP Production and Engineering at a mega-yacht builder and VP Quality and Continuous Improvement at the world’s leading waterpark attractions company. The common theme throughout his career has been business process improvement. John’s background includes leading software development projects, building and managing multi-disciplinary engineering departments, expanding the operations of a marine construction company into the South East Asian market, building a pressurized deep-submergence rescue vehicle system for NATO submarines, consulting on some of the world’s most advanced ships, directing engineering teams on projects for DND. John is the inventor of a structural rehabilitation system for reinforced concrete pilings. His publications include technical papers on ship propulsion and machinery systems, road reconstruction, towing hydrodynamics, use of radio-isotope tracers in large scale mixing, ferry fleet dual-fuel conversion. Awards include: APEGBC Award of Excellence for technical writing, BC Provincial Engineering Communications Prize. John is also an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Jay Rosenzweig, the founding partner of Rosenzweig & Company, is an expert in designing, building and attracting world class executive teams. He consults to public and private companies including large global corporations; emerging growth to mid-sized businesses; professional services firms; and private equity and venture capital firms. Jay, a lawyer by background, earned three degrees at McGill University: Philosophy, Civil Law, and Common Law. In addition, he completed Roger Fisher’s Negotiation Program at Harvard Law School. He also serves as Director, Canada for the Chief Digital Officer Club & Summit.
Jay is a champion of the cause of gender equality.
